Reinhards MIDI-Nest

Driven by my enthusiasm for MIDI, I’ve spent the years sequencing songs for this format – songs that, alongside the Jaco songs, meant a lot to me and helped shape my musical development. In doing so, I’ve placed great emphasis on reproducing the individual parts played by the original musicians as authentically as possible, in terms of dynamics, phrasing, and musical expression. Little by little, I’ve also incorporated my own ideas and brought them to life. Many of these songs feature solos performed by Fritz Mahler, my friend who sadly passed away some time ago – a captivating pianist and keyboardist with whom I played for several years in my former fusion band.
When you press the play button, you can listen to the track in a simple MIDI player that pops up.
